Massive Fire Breaks Out at Paris Recycling Facility

A significant fire erupted at a recycling plant located on the outskirts of Paris, drawing considerable attention on Tuesday evening. The blaze reportedly started in the lower levels of the facility, as stated by local district mayor Geoffroy Boulard. A large, dark plume of smoke spread across the skies of the French capital, prompting authorities to issue warnings for residents to avoid the area and exercise caution. This recycling facility processes plastic and paper waste collected from approximately 900,000 residents in Paris and its surrounding areas. Its location is also in close proximity to several important public buildings, including the Paris Judicial Palace.
