In the 30th round of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich secured a decisive 4-0 victory against FC Heidenheim, extending their lead to nine points ahead of defending champions Bayer Leverkusen, who are scheduled to play on Sunday. Austrian international Konrad Laimer netted his second league goal of the season for Bayern in the 19th minute.

Following their recent exit from the Champions League quarterfinals against Inter Milan, Bayern displayed a commanding performance against the 16th-placed Heidenheim. Star striker Harry Kane opened the scoring in the 12th minute, followed by Laimer's goal just seven minutes later. The 27-year-old finished confidently into the bottom right corner after receiving a well-placed pass from Serge Gnabry. Kingsley Coman added a third goal before halftime in the 36th minute, effectively sealing the match.

Laimer did not return for the second half, with Sacha Boey taking his position in the defensive line. Joshua Kimmich capped off the emphatic win with a goal in the 56th minute, marking Bayern's 22nd victory of the season.

In other Bundesliga matches, RB Leipzig faced a setback as they drew 1-1 with Holstein Kiel. The match saw Christoph Baumgartner and Nicolas Seiwald in action for Leipzig, while goalkeeper Peter Gulasci suffered an injury due to a serious collision. This result complicates Leipzig's pursuit of direct qualification for the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Mainz 05 also struggled, conceding a late equalizer to VfL Wolfsburg in a 2-2 draw, preventing them from achieving a much-needed victory. Patrick Wimmer played until the 63rd minute for Wolfsburg, while Mainz's Nikolas Veratschnig was on the pitch until the 89th minute, with Phillipp Mwene sidelined due to injury.

For the second Austrian Bundesliga coach facing pressure--similar to Wolfsburg's Ralph Hasenhüttl--Christian Ilzer's TSG Hoffenheim was defeated 3-2 by SC Freiburg. Philipp Lienhart played the full match for Freiburg, while Michael Gregoritsch remained on the bench. Freiburg is currently just one point behind Leipzig in the standings, with Mainz sitting in sixth place.

Werder Bremen secured their fourth consecutive win against VfL Bochum, edging to a 1-0 home victory. Captain Marco Friedl played the full match, while Romano Schmid was on the field until the 89th minute. Bremen currently occupies the seventh position in the league, but Borussia Dortmund and Mönchengladbach, who face each other on Sunday, could potentially overtake them. Bayer Leverkusen is set to play against St. Pauli on Sunday as well.
