Assling. The swastika that was trampled into a corn field in Assling on Tuesday has now been changed to a harmless window cross.

In agreement with the affected land owner and the Kripo Erding, the timber yard of the community has changed the swastika into a window cross, explained mayor Werner Lampl. It was also discussed how the landowner can get compensation. One option would be through the liability insurance of the host of the airfield festival. Lampl estimates the material damaged caused to be around 1000 Euro.

Unknown people trampled the Nazi symbol in a field before an air show had taken place in Antersberg on Tuesday. The symbol was only visible from above.
