EHC Fall at Home to Straubing in Penalties

Munich give up lead and fall 5-4

Olympia Eissportzentrum, November 21 - After a week off, it looked like the rest did EHC well, as they went up 3-1 by the beginning of the second period.  But Karl Stewart scored two goals in the third to give Straubing the lead and the momentum that they carried into the penalty shootout. 

Eric Meloche scored the decisive penalty to give the visiting Tigers the victory, 5-4.  The loss drops Munich down to sixth in the table but they are still only four points off the pace.

EHC are back in action on Friday as they host Adler Mannheim.  Face-off at 19:30.
