In a thrilling conclusion to the UEFA Champions League semifinals, Inter Milan and Arsenal have secured their spots in the final, marking a significant achievement for both clubs. Bayern Munich's hopes of reaching the final on home soil were dashed as they drew 2-2 with Inter Milan in the second leg, resulting in a 4-3 aggregate defeat.

Inter Milan, who triumphed in the first leg with a 2-1 victory, will now face FC Barcelona in the final. Meanwhile, Arsenal overcame Real Madrid, advancing with a 5-1 aggregate scoreline after a decisive 3-0 win at home and a subsequent 2-1 victory away.

In the match at San Siro, Bayern Munich controlled possession but struggled to convert their chances against Inter's formidable defense, which had only conceded three goals throughout the tournament prior to this match. Bayern's Thomas Müller, the captain, made his 163rd Champions League appearance, tying with Lionel Messi for third on the all-time list. Despite Bayern's efforts, including a strong performance from Konrad Laimer, they could not break through effectively.

The first goal came from Bayern's Harry Kane in the 52nd minute, scoring his 11th goal of the tournament. However, Inter responded quickly, leveling the score through Lautaro Martinez in the 58th minute, followed by a second goal from Benjamin Pavard just three minutes later. Bayern managed to equalize with a goal from Eric Dier in the 76th minute, but it was not enough to secure advancement.

Simultaneously, Arsenal faced Real Madrid, where David Alaba once again took the field as left-back. However, it was Arsenal's Bukayo Saka who made the early impact, drawing a foul in the box that led to a missed penalty kick. Despite a strong start from Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe, who had a penalty appeal denied, the game was scoreless at halftime.

The second half saw Saka break the deadlock in the 65th minute, followed by a swift equalizer from Vinicius Jr. for Real Madrid. Arsenal, however, sealed their victory with a late goal from Gabriel Martinelli in stoppage time, marking Arsenal's first semifinal appearance in 16 years.

As the teams prepare for the final, both Inter Milan and Arsenal will be looking to capitalize on their successful runs throughout the tournament. Inter has maintained an impressive unbeaten streak at home in the Champions League, while Arsenal aims to reclaim their status among Europe's elite.
