Birkenbach Footbridge Completely Renovated

The community of Hofstetten-Grünau has successfully completed the renovation of the footbridge over the Birkenbach, which sustained significant damage due to flooding in September. The extent of the destruction rendered the bridge impassable, disrupting access to vital walking paths.

In a commendable display of community spirit, local volunteers came together to undertake the restoration project. Key contributors to the effort included Alfred Dutter, Karl Grubner, Hermann Karner, and Konrad Enne, who dedicated their time and skills to ensure the project's success. The involvement of the Ziegelwagner and Seinkogler families, who own the land adjacent to the bridge, was also crucial, as they provided substantial support to the volunteers throughout the renovation process.
