Waldrestaurant Maxlmühle offers Bavarian hospitality in the Mangfall Valley. Guests can enjoy relaxing hours in a cozy, rustic dining room or in the beautiful beer garden under chestnut trees or on the sun terrace. The restaurant is known for its lovingly prepared dishes made from regional products, including delicious meat dishes, creative vegetarian options, and traditional Bavarian snacks. On Sundays and holidays, they serve a special crispy duck dish (reservation required). The in-house bakery offers homemade cakes and pastries, available for dining in or takeout. The venue is steeped in history, having once served as a horse change station for the post, and is named after Crown Prince Maximilian of Bavaria, who visited in 1837.
