Berggaststätte St. Martin am Grasberg has been a popular stop for hikers in summer and sledders in winter since August 1920, located at an altitude of 1040 meters. Managed by Sabine Scherer, the restaurant offers Bavarian delicacies. The starting point for the hike to the hut is the Bayernhalle in Brauhausstraße. After a pleasant one-hour hike, visitors are rewarded with a view over Garmisch-Partenkirchen, dominated by the Wetterstein mountain range, which includes Germany's highest peak, the Zugspitze.
