For over 20 years, Peppino and Antonio Ciccarone have been delighting and surprising their guests with high-class Italian cuisine from Apulia – the southernmost region of Italy. The brothers hail from Santeramo in Colle, a small town in the hinterland of Bari. They brought with them the handwritten original recipes of their mother, which they guard as strictly as their innovative spice compositions that give traditional Italian dishes a modern touch. This makes the cuisine of the 'Sendlinger Vorstadtwunder' so unique in the Munich Italian gastro scene. The selected wines from La Puglia and other regions of Italy reflect the Ciccarone brothers' passion for quality and origin, and a fine selection can be tasted, for example, with a 4-course menu at an astonishingly good price-performance ratio. Culinary discovery journeys are also offered during the Apulia week in January and other regular Incontro events.
