The Lokhalle Freiburg was built by Deutsche Bahn from 1903 to 1905 on the Nord freight yard. The monumental hall is considered the most significant example of industrial architecture from the turn of the century in Freiburg. After extensive renovation work, the South Hall has transformed into an extraordinary gastronomic venue with a large sun terrace.
