Welcome to the traditional handcraft mill in Lonnerstadt, recognized as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. The mill has been operational since 1440 and has undergone significant restoration, receiving awards for its preservation efforts. Visitors can learn about the history, equipment, and restoration of the mill, and guided tours can be arranged upon request. The mill operates using clean energy generated from water power, producing approximately 550,000 kWh of energy since 2009. The mill also hosts events such as the German Mill Day, celebrating the rich history and craftsmanship of milling.
