Refuge Worldwide is a radio station, educational platform and event series, operating across two locations in Berlin Neukölln. The project started in 2015 as a fundraising initiative working in solidarity with grassroots and non-profit organisations. In January 2021, we launched Refuge Worldwide, a radio station to amplify a diverse range of music and issues, broadcasting 24/7 from Weserstraße 166, Berlin Neukölln. The station hosts regular workshops, training programmes and classes in media, creative fields and mental health, free to attend as part of our community outreach. Oona Bar acts as a community space and watering hole for our neighbours, the station's residents, visitors and guests, serving drinks until late at night. The space is identifiable by its green exterior and bar-like appearance, and is not wheelchair accessible.
