Feed the Pony invites guests to share, taste, and exchange in a North Atlantic twist on German classics. The restaurant combines North Atlantic cuisine with traditional techniques, inspired by the roots of its three founders: Hannah Cooper-Borchardt (Berlin), Martin Cooper (Bangor/Belfast), and Maja Sommer (Copenhagen). Dishes are inspired by German, Irish, and Danish classics, modernly interpreted with bold flavors and personality. Everything is served on small plates for sharing and enjoyment. For those who prefer a classic dinner, there is also a carefully curated 5-course menu – seasonal, creative, and lovingly prepared. The atmosphere is as charming as the cuisine: a playful mix of French bistro kitsch, warm lighting, and many loving details waiting to be discovered. The service is personal – Martin welcomes guests and has a good story for almost everything. In the open kitchen, Hannah cooks, bringing experience from Michelin-starred restaurants while aiming for lightness and coziness on the plates. Feed the Pony is a place for those seeking good food, nice company, and a bit of Nordic longing – with a glass of wine in hand and a smile on their face.
