About Landgasthof Morgenthum

Enjoy hearty, traditional dishes in our inn, including Franconian roasts with dumplings or tasty snacks, accompanied by a cool beer from the Eller family brewery or a fruity Franconian wine from the Volkach region. We are happy to serve all this in our cozy, natural beer garden, where you can relax wonderfully. Our guest rooms are the ideal starting point for business travelers and excursions in the attractive Coburg region. Nearby attractions include the thermal baths in Bad Rodach and Bad Staffelstein, the Veste Coburg with its art collection, Ehrenburg Palace, and Callenberg Palace, which were once the city residence and summer residence of the Coburg dukes. The park and castle in the romantic Rosenau, the birthplace of Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, later husband of Queen Victoria of Britain, are easily reachable on foot. The Landgasthof Morgenthum has held the right to serve and accommodate since 1894 and has been run as a family business for four generations, which contributes to the warm and friendly atmosphere.
