A warm welcome to Kerzenstüble! The Kerzenstüble in Gärtringen has been family-owned since 1951. The history of Kerzenstüble began with a kiosk that initially lacked electricity, hence the name, which means 'candle booth'. Over the years, our establishment has undergone many changes. Our hotel now features 28 comfortable rooms, including 10 double and 18 single rooms. We welcome our guests centrally located between Herrenberg-Böblingen and Stuttgart. The convenient location near the A81 allows for easy access and is an ideal starting point for business appointments or relaxing excursions in the Schönbuch Nature Park and the Heckengäu. With direct access to the S-Bahn S1 towards Stuttgart or Herrenberg (about a 3-minute walk away), many destinations, such as the Stuttgart Trade Fair, Stuttgart Airport, or the city center, are easily reachable. In our à la carte restaurant, Chef Felix Theurer delights you with regional, seasonal, and international specialties. As a 'Schmeck den Süden' restaurateur, he brings a piece of our homeland to your plate. Our cozy restaurant has 100 seats. For events, our adjoining room is available. In nice weather, our covered and wind-protected terrace can accommodate an additional 60 guests. Newly renovated is the 'Stüble' for small meetings and celebrations for up to 12 people.
