The Kenzenhütte (1,300 m) is located in the Ammergebirge nature reserve and is a popular destination in Halblech. This rustic and beloved hut in the Allgäu can be easily reached by hiking bus, alternatively by mountain bike or on foot via an easy path. At the 'Kenzen' - as the hut is known by locals, a good mountain kitchen with regional specialties is served, and overnight stays are also possible here. It is a private mountain hut owned by the Waldkörperschaft Buching-Trauchgau. Here, you will find a smile, a cold beer, and the mountains with good food.
