The Kammerer-Bräu is originally a three-story building with a broken ridge. The core of the building dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries, while its exterior appearance is from the 19th century. On March 30, 1894, Max Josef Wieninger purchased the Kammerer-Bräu from Paul and Rosa Hafner, bringing it into the possession of the private brewery M.C. Wieninger from Teisendorf. At that time, there were still six breweries in Bad Reichenhall. Shortly after the sale to the Wieninger family, brewing was discontinued at Kammerer-Bräu, and the brewery continued as an inn, supplied with beer from the brewery in Teisendorf. Since April 2022, the trained chef and new tenant Simon Müller has brought fresh wind with newly interpreted traditional dishes to the inn, breathing new life into the former brewery.
