The lovingly restored half-timbered building has been in family ownership since the 17th century. Since its inception before the Thirty Years' War, it has been in operation as an inn, originally with stables behind it. Michael Baumann, who recently took over as host in the 5th generation, continues to embody traditional hospitality. From the beginning, our family has been characterized by the butcher's craft and the production of our own products. Even today, you can enjoy our homemade products and feel with every bite that 'the heart is in the right place.' Our focus is on love for the product, care in production, and the passing down of long-standing recipes.
