About Höfle-Alpe

The Höfle-Alpe is located at an altitude of 1,060 meters and is part of the Allgäu Mountain Farmers Museum in Diepolz. It was dismantled in Oberstdorf in 2001 and rebuilt at its current location. Beautifully situated, it offers a breathtaking view from the Säntis over the entire Allgäu mountain range to the Tannheimer Valley. The Alpe invites visitors to enjoy a hearty snack made exclusively from regional products: cheese from the Diepolz mountain cheese dairy, homemade bread, and self-baked cakes and tortes. On cold days, homemade soups provide warmth from the inside. It serves as an ideal starting point for hikes in the Hauchenberg and the mountain area.
