About Häckerwirtschaft Bernard

The origin of our wine business goes back to grandfather Siegfried. After father Armin, Philip now leads the family business in its third generation. In the district of Mechenhard, which belongs to the Franconian town of Erlenbach am Main, the grapes are pressed, the wine is stored, and the estate wines are offered during the Häckerzeit. We currently cultivate about 1.5 hectares of vineyard in the terraced slopes of Klingenberger Schlossberg. Here, pure manual labor is required, allowing us to see each individual vine in its uniqueness and care for it accordingly. We aim for high quality in our wines through environmentally friendly cultivation, healthy soils, healthy vines, and targeted yield reduction.
