Happy Momo originates from the high plateau of the Amdo region in eastern Tibet — a land of pure soil, stunning beauty, and deep spirituality. Historically, Tibet has three provinces, each with its own distinct cooking traditions. But one thing unites them all: the love for momos and noodles. Whether served to family members or honored guests, these dishes always bring people together. Back home, our kitchens follow a simple philosophy: food must be clean, fresh, and prepared with care and love. Every meal is shared joyfully among family members — a true celebration of togetherness. When I came to Germany in 2012 as a refugee, I arrived alone. I knew no one, didn’t speak the language, and had to start life again from zero. Through many challenges and uncertainties, I worked in different restaurants while also pursuing my Chef’s Degree at Berlin IHK. The combination of my homegrown cooking experience and professional training became the perfect foundation for Happy Momo, which I opened in Berlin in 2020. Only a month after opening, the second wave of the pandemic forced businesses to shut down. It was a long struggle for survival, but fortunately, I made it through. Today, I feel truly grateful and proud to serve you our handmade Happy Momos and Noodles. Here at Happy Momo, we treat every guest as a beloved family member. We cook with passion, dedication, and respect — always putting customer satisfaction first.
