Welcome to Gut Schönhof, an ecological country inn located in Eichenbirkig, within the municipality of Waischenfeld. The area is beautifully situated in the heart of the Franconian Switzerland, known for its castles, rocks, caves, breweries, and rustic inns. The attractive location amidst the picturesque landscape invites a variety of recreational activities and hikes. The breathtaking view over the Franconian Alb and the natural country air provide relaxation from the very first moment. Currently, we are working hard to make our Schönhof more beneficial to the community and therefore are not hosting weddings and events for the time being. Our educational programs offer school classes, children, and youth groups a practical and experiential approach to agriculture. For multi-day group stays and learning trips, modern sleeping huts with bunk beds are available. Cooking together in the communal kitchen, making stick bread, and enjoying campfire romance enhance the learning experience and round off the adventure.
