The HLC Rot-Weiß München e.V. is a sports club that has been operating for many decades, specializing in hockey and lacrosse. The men's hockey team was part of the Bundesliga in the early 1970s, while the women's team reached the German finals during that time. The men's first team played in the Bundesliga for many years starting in 1991 and currently competes in the Regionalliga. The club's greatest achievement was winning the German Indoor Hockey Championship in 2001. The lacrosse department, established in 2007, has teams for both men and women that are among the best in Germany, with the women's team winning the championship seven times and the men's team eight times.
