Welcome to the Rosswirt website - Zum Weissen Ross. The old house was built by a Curmainz hunter named Casper Maynd as a forest and inn. The exact date is not recorded, but it is known that in 1714, discussions were held in this inn regarding the founding of a village school. After the death of the builder, the heirs had to sell the property to settle existing debts. The purchase deed was issued on July 15, 1767. Since then, the inn has been in family ownership. The new inn, which can accommodate about 150 guests and has 25 beds for overnight stays, was put into operation in 1972. Traditional dishes include homemade schnapps, self-pressed apple wine, homemade sausage, fresh cheese, and homemade bread.
