About Felderwirt

Gasthaus Hirsch 'Beim Felderwirt' in Unterthingau im Allgäu is a traditional inn and restaurant with a rich history dating back to 1649. The name Felderwirt originates from the time around 1748 when the inn was owned by surgeon Johann Jakob Felder. Over the centuries, it has hosted both ordinary people and notable personalities, including painter Jörg Lederer and his son Michael Lederer. Currently managed by Ulrike and Dieter Kremer since 1996, the restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with a diverse menu featuring regional dishes, Swabian and Allgäu specialties, and homemade cakes. Guests can enjoy a beer garden, a children's playground, and bowling alleys, making it an ideal venue for family celebrations, corporate events, and conferences.
