The ice cream parlor Italia was opened in November 1967 in a patrician house on Herrngasse. Since then, it embodies a bit of Dolce Vita in Franconian Rothenburg. Our roots lie in the heart of Italy, in Umbria, and the tradition of this cuisine can be found not only in our excellent ice cream varieties but in the entire Italian cuisine in our restaurant.
