The TSV Eschenbach was founded in 1970 in the Gasthaus Krone by 22 attendees. The initial activities included gymnastics and football on the playground near the Schrebergärten, as well as women's and children's gymnastics in the town hall. The club developed despite limited training facilities. In 1975, the TSV Eschenbach experienced significant growth with the completion of the Voralbhalle, which allowed for a broader range of sports offerings, including the establishment of a volleyball department. Construction of a sports field on Schlaterstraße began at the same time, inaugurated in 1977. The sports field was fundamentally renovated in 1984/1985, and a track and field facility was built. In 1990, the construction of a clubhouse began, which was inaugurated in 1994. In 2001, a new sports field had to be built, which was completed with the community's support and inaugurated in September 2002. The new sports and cultural hall built in 2018 in Eschenbach provided new opportunities to expand the sports offerings. Today, the club has approximately 500 members across 14 departments with various sports offerings.
