Bar BoBu is an important part of Berlin's cultural scene for the past 10 years. Located in the Friedrichshain district, hidden in a quiet side street, it is home to relaxed art forms. Whether it's blues, jazz, soul, or singer/songwriter, this cozy live club is one of the city's top addresses for music. With dim lighting, loyal patrons enjoy high-quality drinks and the cool vibe of a New York jazz cellar. Many well-known artists and night owls frequent here. One can start the evening with a gourmet menu at the adjacent restaurant 'Butterhandlung' and end it with a whiskey sour and fine live music at Bar BoBu. The program is unique, and our cocktails are considered the best in the city. On Tuesdays, Berlin jazz icon Antonello Marafioti invites the who's who of the scene to the popular jazz jam session. Wednesdays belong to the unique harp player Marcos Coll and thus to the blues, while Fridays showcase local and international songwriters during STAGE TIME. When the two owners, Mello and Jerry, perform soul classics with the house band, the place turns into a lively venue.
