Welcome to Backcafé Behrens, your ancient grain bakery in Welzheim. We bake more than just bread! Time and craftsmanship, along with Waldstauden rye, spelt, and emmer, are the ingredients for our ancient grain creations. Our baked goods are traditionally free from artificial ingredients such as flavors, colorings, and stabilizers. Through a long dough fermentation process, our baked goods maintain their freshness and original taste. We bake with our own Waldstauden rye whole grain sourdough and, where possible, with regional organic ingredients. Masterfully baked in our own Backcafé bakery.
