Restaurant Grinsekatze bankrupt

A year ago, Anna Regenberg and Tobias Kronwitter won the Vox TV channel show "My Restaurant", with their restaurant "Grinsekatze" in Haidhausen. However, takings were not strong enough to keep the business afloat.

The two managing directors have submitted an application for insolvency proceedings to Munich District Court. Within the next six weeks a decision will be made to determine what the prospects are for the "Grinsekatze".

During the Vox show "My Restaurant", five couples from different cities had to open a restaurant and run it. Then the people watching the show voted and decided which one of the four restaurants would be allowed to exist and the rest would be closed. The Munich restaurant won the final on 19th December 2008.
