For the first time ever seven Bavarian students are about to take their high school diplomas (Abitur) in Chinese.

During the five years of learning the language, the students also had the opportunity to take part in two exchange programs with Taiwan.

The Munich St. Anna-Gymnasium in Lehel, is the only Bavarian grammar school offering Chinese as a third foreign language to study at A level.

Being a pilot project, it is supported by the Bavarian Ministry of Education and the Arts, and Würzburg University.
