Ybbs Educational Project Fosters Responsibility Among Students

Throughout the academic year, students from the HAK and HAS Ybbs have been actively engaging in a project aimed at fostering a sense of responsibility--both for themselves and their community. This initiative focuses on social engagement, with students reflecting on their roles in society through subjects such as personal development, social competence, and German language.

The project, known as VERA, is rooted in the educational approach of 'learning through engagement.' This method allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings, gaining valuable work experience while establishing connections with various businesses and organizations.

By participating in this program, students are not only enhancing their academic skills but also developing a deeper understanding of social responsibility. The initiative encourages them to think critically about their impact on the community and the importance of civic engagement.

Through hands-on projects and collaborative efforts with local institutions, students are learning to navigate real-world challenges and contribute positively to society. This practical experience is invaluable as it prepares them for future careers while instilling a sense of duty towards their peers and the broader community.
