USC Wetzelsdorf Enhances Facilities with New LED Floodlights

The USC Wetzelsdorf, a football club in the 2nd Class Weinviertel league, has upgraded its facilities by installing new LED floodlights, significantly enhancing the quality of its sporting events. This development marks a significant improvement for the club, which has been seeking to implement this upgrade for several years.

The club's co-trainer highlighted that previous attempts to collaborate with the energy provider, EVN, did not come to fruition due to infrastructural limitations at their sports ground, which is situated on Kellergasse, slightly outside the village. The existing power supply was inadequate for championship-level floodlighting at that time.

With the advent of LED technology becoming the standard, the project has finally come to realization. This upgrade not only allows for improved visibility during evening matches but also aligns with modern energy efficiency standards. The club is optimistic that this enhancement will attract more spectators and foster a better atmosphere during games.

Moving forward, the USC Wetzelsdorf aims to leverage this new lighting to enhance training sessions and increase overall engagement with the community, ensuring that both players and fans benefit from the improved facilities.
