Two Injured in Serious Collision: Driver Trapped in Wreckage

On Friday afternoon, a significant traffic accident occurred on Landesstraße 111, between Noppendorf (in the municipality of Wölbling) and Eitzendorf (in the municipality of Obritzberg-Rust). The incident involved a motorcycle colliding with a car, leading to injuries for both individuals involved, one of whom sustained serious injuries.

The driver of the car became trapped inside the vehicle due to the impact. Emergency responders from the volunteer fire departments of Karlstetten, Obritzberg, and Hausheim-Noppendorf arrived at the scene and successfully extricated him from the wreckage.

The Lower Austria emergency response center dispatched two ambulances, a medical emergency vehicle, and the district operations leader from St. Pölten to the accident site. Both individuals involved in the crash received preliminary medical assistance on-site before being transported to a nearby university hospital.
