Netflix Unveils Series Focused on the Kentucky Derby: The Ultimate Race for Thoroughbreds

The fervor for sports in the United States is unparalleled, encompassing a variety of disciplines beyond just football and basketball. Every year, the first Saturday in May is marked by what is often described as 'the most thrilling two minutes in sports,' as fans gather in Louisville for the Kentucky Derby. The Churchill Downs racetrack, with a capacity of 165,000, is known for selling out annually, with ticket prices starting at $160 for standing room.

This year, on May 3, the Derby will be celebrating its 151st running, featuring the top 20 three-year-old thoroughbreds competing over a distance of 1 1/4 miles (2012 meters).
