Motorcyclist Escapes Serious Injury After Collision with Truck in Stadland
Stadland - A motorcyclist experienced a fortunate escape following an accident on the B212. On September 23, 2025, at approximately 6:10 AM, a 35-year-old man from Jade lost control of his motorcycle while riding in heavy rain. He was navigating from the B437 towards the B212 en route to Nordenham when the incident occurred.
As he transitioned onto the B212, the motorcyclist skidded and fell onto the roadway. A 57-year-old truck driver from Schiffdorf, who was traveling along the same route with a heavy-duty vehicle, attempted to brake and swerve to avoid the fallen motorcyclist. Despite his efforts, the truck inadvertently ran over the hand of the motorcyclist.
The rider later reported experiencing pain in his crushed hand and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance for further evaluation and treatment. The accident resulted in traffic delays of approximately 30 minutes as emergency services responded to the scene.
