LFS Warth Girls Secure Runner-Up Position at National Championship

The girls' team from LFS Warth has made a remarkable impression by finishing in second place at the recent National Championship for Agricultural Vocational Schools. Following their success in the regional championship, the team faced off against competitors from four other Austrian provinces at the tournament held in Hollabrunn.

The competition commenced with a dominant performance from the Warther team, who achieved a resounding 6-0 victory over Güssing. Key players Hanna Holzer and Anna Resch each contributed significantly to this success, scoring two goals apiece. However, in a challenging match against the eventual champions from Vorau, Warth was narrowly defeated with a score of 1-2.

In their next match, LFS Warth bounced back impressively, overpowering Bruck/Glockerstraße with an emphatic 8-1 victory. In this match, Miriam Pratter showcased her exceptional talent by netting four goals, while Holzer added to the tally with a hat trick, further solidifying the team's position in the tournament.

The decisive match for the second-place finish saw Warth face off against Andorf. The Warther girls displayed their prowess once more, securing a comfortable 3-0 win. Pratter once again was the standout player, achieving a flawless hat trick in the first half, helping her team to clinch the runner-up position.
