Organized Crime Coordinator Charged in Connection with Murder of Teenager

A 29-year-old man, known by the aliases 'Ghost' and 'Ghost Worldwide', has been charged with multiple serious offenses, including murder, in connection with a series of violent incidents in Sweden. According to prosecutor Ida Arnell, the accused is significantly involved in orchestrating violent acts carried out by operatives of the criminal network Foxtrot.

This individual was apprehended in Greece in the spring of 2023 and was extradited to Sweden, where he previously received an 18-year prison sentence for serious drug offenses and complicity in an attempted murder. His involvement included coordinating a shooting incident in Sundbyberg, a suburb of Stockholm, in 2021, where a man sustained life-threatening injuries.

On Friday, the man faced charges for his role in three additional violent crimes: one murder, one attempted murder, and conspiracy to commit murder. Arnell emphasizes that the accused functions as a high-level coordinator within the criminal hierarchy, closely tied to the operations of the Foxtrot network.

The murder charge pertains to the killing of a 15-year-old boy, who was shot in the head inside a sushi restaurant in Skogås, south of Stockholm, in January 2023. A peer has already been convicted for this murder, alongside several others involved in the crime.

Investigations suggest that the shooting was a retaliatory act, stemming from a prior incident in which the victim allegedly shot at a residence linked to Rawa Majid, a leader within the Foxtrot organization. The shooter reportedly received directives through chat communications, with the 29-year-old acting as a key figure in the planning phase, directly communicating with the individual who issued the final command to execute the attack.

The man is primarily charged with murder, with an alternative charge of incitement to murder. The other two incidents he is implicated in relate to plans to execute individuals in the Stockholm area during January and December of 2022, including a rapper associated with the rival Dalennätverket.

Additional charges include severe firearm offenses and serious drug-related crimes. The accused has denied all allegations and has not provided any statements regarding the charges.
