Three Injured in Stabbing Incident at Vienna's Reumannplatz

On Monday evening, a violent incident occurred at Reumannplatz in Vienna-Favoriten, resulting in three individuals sustaining injuries from a stabbing. Reports indicate that two suspects attacked a man with a knife, robbing him of his wallet. In an attempt to intervene, two other men were also assaulted by the attackers, leading to their injuries as well.

Emergency medical services promptly attended to the victims, who were subsequently transported to nearby hospitals. Fortunately, their injuries were not life-threatening, according to law enforcement sources.

The Vienna State Criminal Police, specifically the Southern Division, has initiated an investigation focused on the allegations of aggravated robbery and intentional grievous bodily harm. According to a police spokesperson, the victims suffered stab wounds and cuts to their thighs and chest areas. While the injured parties have yet to be interviewed, reports suggest that they have since been discharged from the hospital.

Authorities have received descriptions of the suspects, who are believed to frequent the area surrounding the crime scene. This location is notably within a designated weapons ban zone in Innerfavoriten.
