1. Leave Large Bags Behind When stepping onto the Wiesn, the sprawling grounds of Oktoberfest, remember that large backpacks and oversized bags are strictly prohibited. Pack only what you truly need for the festivities and leave unnecessary items at home. A hassle-free experience awaits those who opt to forego bags altogether.

2. Size Matters For those who do carry bags, there are size restrictions to adhere to. Any bags or backpacks brought onto the premises must have a maximum volume of three liters and should not exceed dimensions of 20 cm x 15 cm x 10 cm.

3. Restricted Contents Certain items are not allowed even in the smallest of bags. Harmful substances such as gas spray cans, corrosive or staining materials, and objects that could be used as weapons (including cutting, stabbing, or blunt objects) are strictly prohibited. Additionally, glass bottles are not permitted.

4. Stroller Regulations Families with young children should be aware of stroller rules. On Saturdays, strollers are not permitted on the festival grounds throughout the day. On other days of the festival, strollers are not allowed after 6:00 PM. Security personnel may, however, inspect strollers for compliance.

5. Two-Wheeled Vehicles Not Welcome Bicycles, roller skates, skateboards, and similar modes of transportation are not permitted within the festival area.

6. Leave Your Pets at Home While many festivals welcome furry companions, Oktoberfest is not the place for them (with the exception of assistance dogs).

7. Plan Your Arrival To avoid crowds and ensure a smooth arrival, consider alternatives to U-Bahn lines 4/5 and Theresienwiese station. If arriving at the main train station, walking to the festival grounds is advisable. If coming from the west via the U-Bahn, consider exiting at Schwanthalerhöhe. U-Bahn lines 3/6 also serve the area with stops at Goetheplatz and Poccistraße.

8. Multiple Entry Points Utilize all entrances surrounding the festival grounds. As in previous years, all access points remain open and unrestricted.

10. Respect the End of the Night Every wonderful evening at the festival eventually concludes. From 1:30 AM to 9:00 AM, access to the festival grounds is not permitted, allowing for the necessary preparations for the upcoming day.
