Wolfratshausen. After an onslaught of rain in the last few days the S-Bahn trains on line S7 between Icking and Wolfratshausen, are running at 40 minute intervalls.

"The large amount of rain soaked the ground under the train tracks", explained a spokesman for Deutsche Bahn. The drivers are asked to drive on the route from Icking to Wolfratshausen at a speed which enables them to stop at any time. The 20 minute intervalls are therefore not followed anymore, due to the reduced travelling speed. Deutsche Bahn has changed the running times to 40 minutes intervalls since tuesday morning. It is expected to last until thursday.
