A series of incidents involving a 30-year-old man from Hungary has come to light following a traffic stop by law enforcement. The individual has been linked to a burglary at the Schwechat Railway Museum that occurred during the night of February 23-24. It is reported that he stole brass components and various tools from the museum, contributing to a total estimated damage of approximately EUR112,000.

Authorities have also connected him to another burglary at the Railway Museum in Strasshof, located in the Gänserndorf district, which occurred shortly after the Schwechat incident. According to the Lower Austria State Police Directorate, the suspect has confessed to these crimes and is currently detained at the Korneuburg correctional facility following an order from the public prosecutor's office.

The police initially became aware of the suspect due to a routine traffic patrol. On April 15, he was observed speeding on the B10 road towards Schwechat. Although the officers lost sight of him temporarily, they later located his vehicle in Fischamend. Upon stopping the car, they discovered that he was driving without a valid license. Furthermore, burglary tools were found inside the vehicle.

During the identity check, the police uncovered that the man was also under investigation for an additional crime. He is suspected of stealing a wallet from an unlocked vehicle in Schwechat on the night of February 24. Initially denying the theft, he ultimately admitted to the act during questioning.
